Brief summary of places visited during my 2014 vacations to Europe
Truth is I love travelling. I don't care where. You can air-drop me in the middle of the Belgian Congo, that as long as I have my camera with me, I'm a happy dude. But alas, travelling is expensive, so I can't do it as often or for as long as I'd like. But when I do I take my camera with me and snap an ungodly amount of photos, reason for which I tend to travel alone as few have the patience for photographers time and walking speed (and I have little patience for non-photographers that want to speed walk the entire trip). Being able to look at the places, the architecture, the history, the people and customs. I walk a lot. And even though I do visit many of the "have to go" places, I also like avoiding the tourist traps and watching other things. And aside from where, I also like watching the people. There's always a peculiar face, a surprising attitude, or a harsh reality. And I don't give a crap about shopping malls so I tend to avoid them.
In this trip I had the chance of wandering around Barcelona, Tarragona, Girona and Montserrat (all in the region of Catalonya in Spain), Prague (Czech Republic), Vienna (Austria), Bratislava (Slovakia) and Budapest (Hungary). All widely recommended for your travelling bucket list.
